Christmas Day - Andy's Family

After opening presents at home, we got ready and went to spend the rest of the day with Andy's family in Ontario.

Here, the kids are moving the presents from the kitchen to a big pile on the floor of the living room. Once Owen realized he wasn't supposed to open the present, but rather take it to the living room, he was more than willing to help.

Passing out presents to everyone.

Starting to open our ginormous pile.

Gavin was happy with his loot.

My beautiful niece, Lexi.

Handsome Gavin.

Andy's sister, Christi.

Her husband, Shawn.

Andy's father, Leon.

And mother, Mary Lou.

And Mr Ornery himself, the love of my life...Andy.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Christmas Morning

Our son was thoroughly spoiled this year. That's the blessing and curse of being a couponer. I need to learn when to stop. Another blessing this year (and will probably be the last of them), Owen slept in 2 hours Christmas morning!!! He told us Merry Christmas in a very special way!

Here is all the presents under the tree.

This is what Santa brought us!

We had a very hard time tearing Owen away from his Santa gift to look at everything else! He loved it immediately!

Really digging into his stocking!

This was the other gift Santa brought him. Daddy helped put it together.

Daddy got a few presents too. This was from his son. The shirt says, 'Who's your Daddy?' with a picture of Darth Vader. I LOL'd when I saw it.

Christmas Eve at Home

We have a few Christmas Eve traditions that seem to be fairly common.

1st Tradition: Owen is getting ready to open his...

Pajamas!!! This year they were Elmo pjs.

2nd Tradition: He is bringing me his 2nd Open Xmas Eve present.

Since the bag was so small, Mama used actual Kleenex versus tissue paper to put in the bag. Owen blew his nose as he took the Kleenex out.

The second thing he got was an ornament.

He actually picked this ornament out himself while we were at the store. Each year he'll get to open a new ornament that will be labeled with his initials and the year and when he is ready, he can take all his ornaments with him...*sniff*.

Daddy got an Open Xmas Eve present this year as well. Here he is realizing he also got...

Elmo PJs!!!

Owen pointing out all the 'Mos' to Dada.

Yep, Mama got Elmo pjs too. We took a family picture with my new camera, using it's delay function. =)

Christmas Eve - My family

This year we spent Christmas Eve Day with my family at my sister, Michelle's house.

Cace noticed I was taking pictures and decided to make sure he was in them. :)

So I made him pose for a proper one.

My sweet little boy. Giving me his half-fake smile.

My brother, Jason and his daughter, Kendal.

Mwah!

Aunt 'Chelle let Kendal try on some of her jewelry.

Posing with it all.

Cousin Tristan, if you're going to hold your phone over the back of the couch...

I'm going to steal it!

Opening up presents.

This was Owen's way of setting up Uncle Jason for a 'gag' later in the day.

Uncle Jason was so used to taking little scraps of paper from Owen all day that later when Owen went to hand him a boogie, Uncle Jason took it. He then went, 'wait a minute, what is that?' 'Get it off, get it off NOW!'

Cousin Tristan and Owen played all day...Here are a few pictures of their antics.
